RC Shares St. Anthony’s Love to Children
St. Anthony’s Boys Sharing is a yearly occasion every neighboring child of RC anticipates. Eager to be part of the occasion, these children together with their parents flooded the entrance gate for the registration early morning of July 13, Saturday. 1,000 children where luckily admitted inside the campus. Everyone was given a souvenir t-shirt of the RC’s St. Anthony’s Boys Sharing 2010. The day started with the holy mass officiated by Fr. Herman, the Superior. At their young age, the children have acquired the gift of faith. They wholeheartedly sang praises and listened intently to the priest’s homily. After lunch, the children were delighted to see Ronald Jr. and Jollibee perform on stage. Some talented children were also asked to showcase their talents. In the end, each child was given a bag full of goodies and school supplies. But most importantly, everyone received a blessed bread to be shared in one’s family. It is a bread coming from the generosity of benefactors through the intercession of St. Anthony de Padua who is an untiring benefactor of those who appear to people’s humble prayers. The children with lighted faces happily left RC grounds to meet their parents waiting for them at the gate.
Freshmen Team Building
Freshmen Team Building
Survive and Thrive your Freshman Year and Beyond – this was the theme of the Team Building Activity for the first year college students which took place last July 3 at the St. Francis Sports Center. Organized by the Guidance Office, the Team Building Activity sought to attune these new students to college life and also to acquaint them with their peers and colleagues through fun games, interactive activities, and motivating lectures. One student claimed that it was a very nice experience for them as it boosted their self-esteem which is important as a preparation to a new stage of their life- the college years.Page 3 of 9
