High School Admission Policy

ADMISSION POLICIES        

        Admission for incoming freshmen is open to all elementary graduates with satisfactory academic qualification (at least a final average of 80% in the Grade 6 report card), intellectual ability (average I.Q.), normal personality and good conduct (conduct grade of S/G/B/85) or better every quarter.

        The High School Department accepts transferees in second and third year levels provided there are available slots and they meet the requirements of the screening process.  Transfer applicants should have at least 82% average in the previous grade/year level and satisfactory/B/85 conduct.

I.      Admission Procedure for First Year Applicants

1.     Application for Entrance Test

1.1.      Secure an application form from the Registrar’s Office.  This form is free of charge and can be photocopied.

1.2.      Fill-out the form completely and attach:

1.2.1.       a clear photocopy of the applicant’s Grade 5 and latest Grade 6 report cards

1.2.2.       two (2) pieces of 2x2 colored I.D. pictures

1.3.      Pay the testing fee at the Cashier’s Office.

1.4.      Submit the form with the above requirements and receipt to the Registrar’s Office.  Thereafter a test permit indicating the schedule of entrance test will be issued to the applicant.

1.5.      Entrance examinations usually start on the 3rd  Saturday of October and every Saturday thereafter until March.

1.6.      Applicants should report on their scheduled examination date at least 10 minutes earlier than their scheduled examination time.  They should bring the test permit, pencil and eraser.

1.7.      Applicants should follow-up on the application two weeks after taking the examination.  A list of qualifiers and other possible candidates will be posted on the bulletin boards.

1.8.      Qualified freshmen applicants will be advised to report for pre-enrolment.

1.9.      Applicants will report for an interview with the Assistant Principal/Principal.

 

II.     Admission Procedure for Transferees

1.     Application

1.1.      Transfer applicants for Second Year must present to the Registrar a clear photocopy of Grade 6 and latest First Year Report Cards, while those applying for Third Year Level need to submit a clear photocopy of First Year and latest Second Year Report Cards.

1.2.      Transfer applicants will undergo preliminary interview with the Principal.  After passing the interview, the applicants can proceed with their application

1.3       Secure an application form from the Registrar’s Office.

1.4.      Fill-out the form completely and attach:

1.4.1.       clear photocopy of required Report Cards

1.4.2.       original copy of Good Moral Certificate

1.4.3.       two (2) pieces of 2x2 colored I.D. pictures.

1.5.      Pay the testing fee at the Cashier’s Office.

1.6.      Submit the form with the above requirements and receipt to the Registrar’s Office and wait for the test permit.

1.7.      Report for testing on the date specified on the test permit issued.

1.8.      Result of test will be released two weeks after the date of examination. Qualified transfer-applicants will then be informed of the date of pre-enrolment.

III. Requirements for entrance examinations

1. Incoming FIRST YEAR HIGH SCHOOL:

  • photocopy of Gr. 5 & Gr. 6 report cards
  • 2 pcs of 2x2 ID picture
  • Testing fee of Php 250.00; accomplished application form from the Registrar’s Office

2. 2nd year transferee

  • photocopy of Gr. 6 & 1st year reportcards
  • 2 pcs of 2x2 ID picture
  • testing fee of Php 250.00
  • accomplished application form from the Registrar’s Office

3. 3rd year transferee

  • photocopy of 1st year & 2nd year report  cards
  • 2 pcs of 2x2 ID picture
  • testing fee of Php 250.00 accomplished application form from the Registrar’s Office
