FAPE approves RC

Last August 25, 2009, The Fund for Assistance to Private Education or FAPE approved Rogationist College to be a participant in the Educational Voucher System (EVS) and Education Service Contracting Scheme (ESC). Two certifiers, Ms. Alicia Alday and Ms. Celedonia Mendoza visited the school last July 28, 2009 to check if the school was within the standard of FAPE.

The Fund for Assistance to Private Education is an organization that aims to develop private education in the Philippines. It helps private schools achieve “academic excellence, managerial competence and financial viability, through the extension of logistic and technical support.” The EVS and ESC are for the availability of private education to selected elementary graduates from public schools.

RC got the overall rating of Above Standard for the Part I: DepEd Standards while it got a rating of Outstanding for Part II: Qualitative Aspects. The Qualitative Indicators for the DepEd Standards are Missions and Goals, School Plant and Equipment, Faculty and Staff, Instructional Program, Student Services and Performance Indicators. The Indicators meanwhile for the Qualitative Aspects are Administration, Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Facilities, Student/Faculty Services and Administrative Support.
